The Amperor Guarantee
Amperor Europe Limited guarantees that all Amperor products are designed,
manufactured and tested to be defect free and fit for the specific purpose(s)
that they are sold.
If you are not 100% satisfied with an Amperor product bought through
this website then, in the first instance, you should e-mail your complaint
to the Amperor Customer Service Department - Sales@amperor.co.uk -
describing the problem, and quoting the invoice number and the product
serial number. The Amperor customer service department will respond within
7 days.
No goods should be returned without receiving a Goods Return Number (GRN)
from the Amperor customer service department.
Returned goods will be replaced if faulty, but this must be reported
within seven days of receiving the goods.
Returned goods that are not suitable but have no faults must also be
returned within 7 days of being received and a full refund will be given
excluding the despatch and handling costs.
This guarantee does not cover improper use, alterations, accidental damage
or lack of care, and excludes claims for consequential loss.
Amperor Online Trading Terms and Conditions
General
All orders placed online through this website are accepted by Amperor
Europe Ltd (herein after referred to as "Amperor") on these
conditions of sale which supersede any other terms previously published,
unless agreed in writing on Amperor headed documentation by a Director
of Amperor.
Purchases
All purchase transactions are carried out through a secure server.
Credit cards accepted include Visa, Access, Mastercard and American Express.
Debit cards accepted include Switch, Solo and Visa.
Purchases within the European Union (EU) will be charged including UK
Value Added Tax (VAT).
Purchases outwith the EU will be charged less VAT but will be subject
to local taxes payable by the purchaser at the time of importing the
goods to their own country of residence.
On a purchase transaction being completed an acknowledgement with a reference
number will be e-mailed to the purchaser.
Prices will be charged in Pounds Sterling (£). Prices quoted in
Euros are for guidance only.
Prices are subject to alteration although every effort will be given
to keep the Website up to date. No goods will be despatched at a price
other than that quoted on the website without first notifying the purchaser.
Deliveries
Despatch costs are calculated automatically at the time of completing
your on-line purchase.
Despatch will be within 1 working day if possible. However, Amperor reserve
the right to despatch within 7 working days without referring to the
purchaser. If due to unforeseen circumstances despatch is not expected
to be made within 7 working days, Amperor will advise the purchaser of
the expected despatch date and the purchaser will have 2 working days
in which to cancel the order. No cancellation from the purchaser within
2 working days will deemed to be acceptance of the revised despatch date.
Despatches will be carried out using Amperor's designated carrier to
whom all delivery enquiries, quoting the specific order tracking number,
should be directed.
Amperor will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery estimates but
cannot accept any liability whatsoever for failure to do so however arising.
Inspection
The purchaser must inspect the goods within 7 working days of delivery
and e-mail Customer Service at Amperor (Sales@amperor.co.uk)
in detail of any defect in the products or of any other complaint which
the purchaser might have, quoting the invoice number and product serial
number.
No claim will be considered outwith this period.

General Descriptive Matter
Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure accuracy, all specifications,
illustrations or other details contained in any price list or otherwise
communicated to the purchaser are intended to merely present a general
idea of the product and nothing contained in any of them shall form part
of the contract between Amperor and the purchaser.
If the description of any products not of Amperor's manufacture contained
in any correspondence or advertising material varies from that of the
manufacturer's description, the manufacturer's description will be deemed
to be the correct description, and shall take precedence over Amperor's
description. The manufacturer's description is available from Amperor
on request.
Product performance and suitability
Unless any product performance figures, tolerances, characteristics
or suitability have been expressly warranted by Amperor, Amperor shall
be under no liability whatsoever for any failure to attain such figures
or suitability, whether attributable to Amperor's negligence or otherwise.
The responsibility for ensuring that products are sufficient and suitable
for the purchaser's requirements is the purchaser's sole responsibility,
save insofar as Amperor have specifically advised the purchaser that
the products are sufficient and suitable for the purchaser's purposes
having been fully and accurately advised by the purchaser of his requirements.
Quality Assurance
All products have been processed in strict accordance with standard
quality procedures, approved to BS EN ISO 9002:1994.
Country of Origin
Products offered for sale by Amperor may originate from a Non-EU source.
Unless otherwise confirmed by Amperor in writing, nothing published by
Amperor is to be taken as representation of the source of origin, manufacture
or production of the products or any part thereof.
Warranty
Amperor warrants that it will, at its option, replace products supplied
by Amperor in which under proper use defects appear, or repair same,
or refund or credit the purchase price thereof, subject to the claim
being made in writing to Amperor within 12 months of despatch, providing
that products or parts to which the claim relates are returned to Amperor
within that period suitably packaged and carriage paid with all associated
parts, accessories and literature.
Returned products must be accompanied by a proof of purchase/ invoice
number and a Goods Return Number, obtained from the customer service
department at Amperor.
Any replaced products shall become the property of Amperor.
Subject as expressly provided in these terms and conditions, and except
where the products are sold to a person dealing as a consumer (within
the meaning of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977), all warranties, conditions
or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest
extent permitted by law.
Limit of Liability
The purchaser will be responsible for ensuring the fitness for purpose
of the products for the purchaser's application unless the purpose is
previously notified.
Amperor accepts no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in respect
of loss, damage or expense arising from errors in information or advice
provided, whether or not due to Amperor's negligence or that of its employees,
agents or sub-contractors save for any loss or damage arising from personal
injury.
Amperor shall not be liable to the purchaser by reason of any representation
(unless fraudulent), or any implied warranty, condition or other term,
or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of contract with
the purchaser, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage
(whether loss of profit or otherwise), costs, expenses or other claims
for compensation whatsoever (whether caused by negligence of Amperor,
its employees or agents or otherwise) which arise out of, or in connection
with the supply of the products or their use or resale by the purchaser.
The entire liability of Amperor under or in connection with the contract
with the customer shall not exceed the price of the products, except
as expressly provided in these terms and conditions.
Force Majeure
Amperor shall not be liable to the purchaser or deemed to be in breach
of contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform,
any of Amperor's obligations in relation to the products, if the delay
or failure was due to any cause beyond Amperor's reasonable control.
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following shall
be regarded as causes beyond Amperor's reasonable control:
- Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident
- War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance
or requisition
- Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures
of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local
authority body
- Import or export regulations or embargoes
- Strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial actions or trade disputes,
(whether involving employees of Amperor or a third party)
- Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or
machinery
- Power failure or breakdown in machinery
Law
Any sales transacted by Amperor are to be governed solely by English
Law and the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English
courts.
Consumer Protection
Nothing contained herein shall affect a purchaser's statutory rights
if he/she "deals a consumer" as defined in Section 12 of the
Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
